More Work To Do...

                                                 Graceland is just the start of this thing!!!
 I have emailed FedEx Forum to see if they will Light It Up Blue and the 5100 Poplar Building.  Last week I sent letters to the Memphis Zoo, Pink Palace Museum, Children's Museum and Pump it Up in Bartlett to see if any of them would consider an Autism night or afternoon at their facilities for families in & around Memphis to come, bring their kids and enjoy time with other parents.  I suggested them offering free admission or discounted admission prices for families.  I also challenged them to Light it up Blue!!  If any one has ANY suggestions now is the time to get things moving...let me know your thoughts!!!

Graceland Update

It has been CONFIRMED Graceland will be Lighting it up BLUE in April for Autism Awareness!!  Please thank them the same way we bombarded them with emails to do it!!  THANK YOU emails go to marketing@elvis.com !!

In the last post on the Grizzlies game it is Saturday night April 14, 2012.  The Open the Eyes to Autism 5K is on Friday April 13.  Thank you to a reader for bringing the typo to my attention!!

Autism Awareness Night with the Grizzlies!!!

We have scheduled Autism Awareness Night with the Memphis Grizzlies it is April 14, 2012 SATURDAY night.  I will have the flyers and ticket details later this week.  Please leave a comment and I will message you if you will be available in the upcoming months to help possibly "man a table" on the weekend at various locations in the upcoming weeks to sell tickets and hand out Autism Speaks related materials to individuals.  If you have a suggestion on a location to set up a table PLEASE let me know!!

Grizzlies Update

We have two possible dates with the Griz April 14 or 21 (Saturday Night) YEAH She is going to get back with me on the date. I thought that we could promote the event by possibly setting up tables at places such as Panera, Kroger, the Malls, and so on. Does anyone have suggestions on how to promote the event?? Please post!

Light Graceland Up Blue for Autism Awareness

Memphis TN home to Elvis Presley's Graceland Mansion. I want to start a campaign to Light Graceland up BLUE for Autism Awareness Month in April. It would go right in line with his songs "Blue Suede Shoes" & "Blue Christmas" & his movie "Blue Hawaii". The email address of he marketing department at Graceland. I think it would be SO cool. Will you post on your pages and share with friends?? I think if enough send emails maybe that will encourage them to do so. I tried last year & they didn't have the time or money. Maybe this year they would be able to participate.
